A jealous Kenyan woman, Valentina Mugere, has been arrested by the police in the Njong Division for allegedly stabbing her lover to death after he hugged her friend passionately, reports Nairobi News.
Mugere
and the friend are now being detained by the police while
investigations are being intensified to determine the cause of the
altercation.
According to the News, the jealous lover stabbed her man in the chest moments after he insisted on a hug from the other woman whom they had visited in Oloolua area.
The
love birds were from a drinking spree when they decided to pass by the
friend’s house. On arrival, the women, who are good friends, hugged.
When the owner of the said house stretched her hand for a handshake with
her friend’s boyfriend, the intoxicated man insisted on a hug.
After
the two hugged, the Mugere felt aggrieved and reached for a kitchen
knife and stabbed her boyfriend once. The man was taken to hospital
where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
