Arsenal fans are out with their calculators, starching their head on how they can qualify for the second round of the UEFA Champions League following their 5-1 trashing by Bayern Munich.
With three points from four matches, Arsenal can no longer finish as leader of the group and have only the second position to fight for.
Bayern Munich are now top of the group with nine points ahead of Olympiacos just with goal difference.
The Greek club only need only a single point from their next two games -which is away at Bayern and home to Arsenal- to qualify.
Arsenal will hope Bayern Munich win Olympiacos and likewise win at home against Zagreb who are third but level on three points with Arsenal.
Arsenal will also have to beat Olympiacos (if they loss to Munich) by at least 2-0 to qualify after losing 3-2 at home to the Greek side.
Head-to-head records are counted ahead of goal difference in the Champions League.
The old and experienced fans should know how its done but its really nice you did a breakdown for so many people who aren't familiar with the system. WELL DONE CHIMELE ISIAH
