seems Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has landed himself in trouble with the club’s president with his comment about his future at the club.
The forward have been trailed with a move away from the Bernabeu, with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United considered potential suitors.
The flamed the fire of these reports by admitted he does not know if he will remain at Madrid for the remainder of his career
"At this moment, I'm happy playing for Real Madrid but I don't know what will happen in my future," Ronaldo is quoted as saying by EFE.
The comments didn’t sit well with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez who confronted the star about his comment just before their UEFA Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain which they won 1-0.
Perez was caught by television cameras waiting for Ronaldo as he arrived at the stadium with the rest of the players and could be seen asking the forward about the comments
He whispers something to Ronaldo before giving him a playful slap.
“What did I say? I never said that. I said it differently,” an obviously unimpressed Ronaldo can be heard saying.
Ronaldo’s action after the game could also make sure reports linking him with PSG keep coming.
He had a long chart with Paris Saint-Germain manager, Laurent Blanc, whispering his ears as they both walked to the dressing room.
