Boko Haram terrorists, on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, attacked a remote village in Borno State, reports say.
The terrorists stole foodstuff from Ashir in Damboa Local Government Area of the state, according to Sahara Reporters.
The insurgents also reportedly set the entire village ablaze after the night-time raid.
“They came on motorcycles around 8:30pm. As a local vigilante on duty saw them he quickly alerted the villagers. Everyone fled into the nearby bushes,” local vigilante, Abubakar Jojori said.
“They went away with two vehicles, some bicycles, goats, chickens as well as all the foodstuffs including salt. But we thank Allah nobody was killed. Only a few people sustained small injuries,” he added.
