Victor Osimhen- From newspaper vendor to most sought after striker in world football

After his exploits in the FIFA U-17 World Cup, Victor Osimhen is now the most sought after striker in world football.
The young striker scored ten goals in the World Cup making him the highest goal scorer ever in the competition.
Osimhen is also the first player to have scored in every match he played in the history of the 30-year-old competition.

He won the Golden Boot (highest goal scorer) as well as the Silver Ball making him the 2nd best player at the tournament.
The Golden Ball was won by talented Golden Eaglets captain Kelechi Nwakali who also won the Bronze Boot for scoring 3 goals and delivering 3 assists.
According to several reports, the striker was watched at the World Cup by Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Chelsea, Juventus, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich

Tottenham are said to have kicked off negotiations with the striker's representatives also.
It’s been a long time coming for the striker who not long away was a newspaper vendor before joining the Ultimate Strikers Academy.
He told CAF website that as the last in a family of six, he had to work as a vendor to contribute to the family income before finding football.
He also hawked on the street selling all kinds of stuffs in traffic.
Now his has developed into a tall gangly striker with good technique who can also play wide.

He idolises former Chelsea forward Didier Drogba and is eager to follow in his footsteps by becoming a success in the Premier League

  2. Critics will say "well its only the under 17s" but what I have seen in him already is great. A forward who is big, strong, pacy and scores consistently what more can you ask? Mark my words; he is gonna be right up there very soon
